
Transfer
Applicants seeking transfer admission to Alfaisal University must ensure that all required documents and criteria are fulfilled. Incomplete submissions may delay or prevent the transfer process. Please review the checklist carefully.
Academic Eligibility
- The applicant must have studied at a recognized university or college for at least two semesters or completed a minimum of 30 credit hours.
- Meet the College-specific admissions criteria of the program you are applying to.
Transcript Submission
- Submit original transcripts from all previously attended institutions.

Minimum GPA requirements:
- All colleges: 2.0/4.0 or 3.0/5.0
- College of Medicine: 3.5/4.0 or 4.5/5.0
- College of Pharmacy: 2.5/4.0 or 3.5/5.0
Credit Transfer Requirements
- Courses must have been completed at universities recognized by the Saudi Ministry of Education or officially recognized by the Ministry of Education in the respective country.
- Courses completed at fully online universities are not acceptable for transfer consideration.
- Maximum credit hours transferable cannot exceed 40% of the total program credit hours.
- Courses taken online or on a pass/fail basis are generally not eligible for transfer, except courses completed during the COVID-19 pandemic period (subject to college approval).
- Courses taken simultaneously while enrolled at Alfaisal University are not eligible for transfer.
- Credit transfer must be approved by the prospective college at Alfaisal University.
- Only courses completed with a grade of C or better (or its equivalent) will be considered.
- For the College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy, only courses completed with a grade of B or better (or its equivalent) will be considered.
College of Medicine Specific Requirements
- Courses must be from other accredited Colleges of Medicine.
- Only first- and second-year level courses are eligible for transfer consideration.
- All courses must adhere to the Alfaisal University Transfer Policy.

Application Documents Checklist
Applicants must submit the following documents to complete their transfer application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Application Fee: 600 SAR Non Refundable
- High School Graduation Certificate and Official Transcript (Report Card).
- English Proficiency Test Score:
- TOEFL score report or
- IELTS score report
- Students who have studied in English in a native English-speaking country for more than one academic year are exempt from submitting an English proficiency test score.
- National Identification:
- National ID (for Saudi applicants) or
- Iqama (for non-Saudi applicants)
- Valid Passport.
- Recent Personal Colored Photograph.
- Official Transcript(s) from all previously attended colleges/universities.
- Official Course Descriptions from the previous university/college for courses intended for transfer consideration (Maximum file size: 4 MB per document).
- Medical Insurance Card (mandatory for non-Saudi students).
- Any additional supporting documents relevant to the application (if applicable).
Credit Transfer Process
- Admission offers do not guarantee approval of credit transfer.
- The official credit transfer process will commence only after the applicant confirms their enrollment at Alfaisal University.
- Upon receiving their Alfaisal University email account, the newly admitted student may submit a Credit Transfer request through the University E-Forms system prior to the start of the semester in which they intend to enroll.
STEP 2
Submit Application
- Complete the online Admission Application Form, you need to sign up for a new account using a valid email address so you can be able to complete the process. All notifications will be communicated via email messages.
- If all the requirements are completed, An e-mail will be sent to the student within 3 working days.
- If the requirements are not completed, then the student will be notified and will be given 2 weeks to complete all missing requirements before he/she got the final reply about the admission results.
